Free kick enough, Hawk Jordan Lewis in the clear over tackle on Swan Luke Parker

HAWTHORN midfielder Jordan Lewis has no case to answer for a tackle on Sydney's Luke Parker.

HAWTHORN midfielder Jordan Lewis has no case to answer for a tackle on Sydney's Luke Parker.

The AFL match review panel yesterday decided Lewis's contact with Parker was below the force required to be a reportable offence.

It decided a free kick was sufficient penalty for the heavy tackle at the SCG that resulted in Parker's head hitting the turf.

No player was suspended from Round 22 incidents, with Melbourne pair Colin Garland and Rohan Bail able to accept reprimands, along with Port Adelaide's Brett Ebert.
