Eagle-eyed AFL fans spot bizarre jersey ‘misprint’
An AFL club has been forced to explain an unusual jersey mistake after fans spotted it during West Coast’s game against Brisbane.
Eagle-eyed West Coast fans have noticed a rare mistake on one of its jerseys, which the club explained was a “misprint”.
Eagles defender Harry Edwards was spotted wearing a slightly different guernsey to the rest of his teammates during his side’s clash against Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday night.

He was sporting West Coast’s away yellow jersey, but fans noticed one sole difference compared to the other players.
The Eagles emblem in the middle of the jersey wasn’t yellow with blue lines around it, but was instead entirely blue.

After fans alerted West Cast of the error, the Eagles described the mistake as a “misprint” on social media.
“Harry Edwards’ clash jumper has a misprint of our logo,” West Coast tweeted during the game.
“The club has notified the AFL.”
With West Coast unlikely to secure a finals chance, the focus was on whether Brisbane defeat the Eagles by a large enough margin that would see them leapfrog the Western Bulldogs on percentage and secure an all-important spot in the top four.
The Lions got off to an impressive start, kicking seven goals in the opening term before the Eagles mounted a comeback, reducing the deficit to just 11 points at halftime.
Currently ninth on the ladder, the Eagles would need to defeat Brisbane and hope other results go in their favour if they are any chance to sneak into eighth position on the ladder.
