Footy star Tom Hawkins has shared a cute photo of his daughter committing a cold act of treachery against her own dad.

Cats star Tom Hawkins has revealed his daughter’s ultimate betrayal in an adorable photo shared on social media.

The Geelong power forward and his family gave the footy world some of the most heartwarming photos of 2020 when he was reunited with wife Emma and his daughters, Arabella and Primrose, inside the league’s Queensland isolation bubble following two weeks of quarantine.

The family has now given footy fans another endearing photo, but it’s not how the 32-year-old would have wanted it to go.

He posted a photo on his Instagram stories on Saturday morning showing his daughter Primrose clutching a cuddly, soft toy made in the likeness of Western Bulldogs superstar Marcus Bontempelli.

The only problem is Bontempelli’s Bulldogs are one of the biggest rivals for the Cats as contenders for the AFL premiership this year.

Unless it’s some kind of voodoo doll, it appears Hawkins has let his own daughter slip through Geelong’s fingers.

The photo also showed her holding a soft bunny toy and appearing to watch TV.

Hawkins’ caption of the photo suggests she was pretty comfortable watching hit children’s show Bluey.

“Doing the hair can wait. As long as Mim’s got her three B’s in the morning,” he wrote.

“bunny. bluey. bont.”

Hawkins was very public in his admissions last year that he found it “tough” to be away from his family for half the season.

Emma, Primrose and Arabella all served two weeks in quarantine last year after making the trip from Victoria to Brisbane as part of a large group of Geelong players’ wives and family members.

“Reunited after six weeks! It’s the longest we have ever been apart as a family since we decided that we were going to be a family,” Emma wrote on Instagram last year.

“Another strange chapter in the crazy year 2020 has been.

“But a few weeks ago we embarked on an adventure to see dad. 2 weeks quarantine, some quality (read: intense) two on one time with my children and here we are. Today we got to see Tom! We are so lucky we are able to come and spend some time as a family in QLD while my husband works.”
