2006 – Taken by Richmond at pick 56 in the 2006 National Draft.

2008 - Contract extended at Richmond, despite playing just 18 games in two seasons.

Connors, Martin face sanctions for behaviour

April, 2010 - Richmond bans him for eight weeks for involvement in boozy fracas at Sydney Hotel in which teammate Ben Cousins punched him in the face in order to subdue him. Cousins, Polo and Luke McGuane all banned for one week.

October, 2011 - Richmond suspends Daniel Connors for 12 weeks, telling him to amend his socially unacceptable behaviour.

June, 2012 - Recalled for first senior game in more than a year against GWS.
