Former Richmond coach Damien Hardwick is living it up after walking away from his role and his latest upload took the internet by storm.

Hardwick's decision to depart his role as the coach of the Tigers rocked the AFL, with burnout the reason behind the shock call.

The man more commonly known as "Dimma” is making the most of his freed up schedule as he lives it up overseas.

While he didn’t take Dustin Martin’s advice to head to Ibiza, the former coach did jet out of Australia, landing in Denver.

The NBA Finals are currently taking place in Denver, with Game 2 on tomorrow at 10:30am (AEST), but Hardwick was still keeping a close eye on his former troops.

Hardwick uploaded several snaps to his Twitter account showing himself in a pub in Denver, but he had clearly won the place over as on the big screen in the background was the game between Richmond and the Giants.

Shortly after he posted another snap of him along with a big crowd of American locals with the cheeky caption: “40 new members chief”.

The two photos combined had accrued over 100,000 views in the hour from being uploaded.

It’s the second time he has caused a stir online after departing the Tigers with his post last weekend during the club’s first outing without him going viral.

The 50-year-old posted a photo which showed him sitting on a couch with his feet up alongside his golden retriever while holding a Stone and Wood beer bottle aloft in triumph.

His caption included yellow and black heart emojis — the Tigers’ iconic colours.

“How long to go?! Carn the Tigs,” he wrote at 10am on Sunday ahead of the team’s 1.10pm battle with Port Adelaide.
