The Age reports Pearce is moving to a position as Seven’s Thursday night expert commentator as one of several moves across the free to air network.

Pearce was last year promoted to the prime time Friday slot at the expense of Wayne Carey, who was bumped to Saturdays.

However, the 34-year-old’s move to become an assistant coach of Geelong’s AFL men’s team means she can no longer make the Friday timeslot work.

The Age reports Pearce’s move to Thursday’s is part of a game of musical chairs at Seven with popular sideline reporter Matthew Richardson promoted to the position of expert commentator. He will call Friday night matches alongside Brian Taylor, James Brayshaw and Luke Hodge.

Former AFLW player Abbey Holmes is expected to take up the vacant sideline role.

Seven’s Saturday night team will reportedly include Hamish McLachlan, Luke Darcy and a rotation of former payers, including Jobe Watson and Jimmy Bartel.

Carey was famously not offered a contract by Channel 7 for the 2023 season in the wake of his white powder scandal where he was also cut loose by Triple M.

Taylor will also call Seven’s Sunday matches where he will feature alongside a rotation of former players, including Shaun Burgoyne.

All nine matches of every round of the 2023 season will remain live on Fox Footy.

The Foxtel network has responded to the departure of Saints legend Nick Riewoldt with another star-studded team for 2023.

Fox’s team will include Garry Lyon Nathan Buckley, Jonathan Brown, Anthony Hudson, Dwayne Russell, Mark Howard, Kelli Underwood, Adam Papalia, Jason Dunstall, Gerard Healy, David King, Jordan Lewis, Nick Dal Santo, Mark Ricciuto, Matthew Pavlich, Brad Johnson and Cameron Mooney.

Channel 7 has told news.com.au its line-up for the 2023 season will be officially announced shortly.
