Western Bulldogs banner writer Danny McGinlay back for AFLW competition
UPDATE: THE Western Bulldogs have proved they have the best banners in the AFL men’s comp — and their first effort in the women’s league will take some beating. PLUS REJECTED BANNERS
THE comic genius who made Western Bulldogs banners a sensation in 2016 is back, revealing his rejected slogans for the Dogs’ first AFLW clash.
Comedian Danny McGinlay became a fan favourite last year when he penned Bulldogs banner slogans that celebrated the club and took well-aimed pot shots at opponents.
ON THE JOB: FORCE IS WITH BULLDOGS POLICE RECRUITS
HILARIOUS: YOUR CLUB’S BANNER FOR 2016 SEASON
And his formula clearly hasn’t changed regardless of whether it’s men or women wearing the red, white and blue.
The slogan for the Bulldogs’ banner in their first AFLW game against Fremantle today has just been raised at Whitten Oval — and it lived up to the hype.
