Nat Exon will make her Brisbane Lions debut in Round 2 of the AFLW season

FORMER Carlton gun Nat Exon will make her Lions debut on Sunday, after the star recruit was named by coach Craig Starcevich for their home clash against the Bulldogs.

Exon, who came to Brisbane in a trade deal ahead of the 2018 season, has been named in a back pocket as the Lions look to notch up their second-straight win.

The 2017 losing grand finalists claimed a Round 1 victory over Adelaide last week and will aim to strengthen their ladder position over the rest of the competition on Sunday.

Megan Hunt has dropped out of the side to make way for Exon, who last season gained a reputation as a tough and feisty defender.

One of the AFLW’s most promising talents, the 25-year-old is expected to add plenty of aggression to the Lions, in what is expected to be a gritty battle.

The match will be the Lions’ first game at home this year, with several thousand fans expected to turn out at Brendale on Sunday.
