Crows pair Marijana Rajcic and Chelsea Randall announce engagement
The sports world has shared its love for the Adelaide Crows premiership pair after they announced some amazing news.
Adelaide AFLW captain Chelsea Randall and premiership teammate Marijana Rajcic have announced their engagement in an uplifting social media post on Sunday.
Captioned “it’s a big YES,” the post attracted a flurry of congratulations from the football community, across multiple codes.
Crows teammate Anne Hatchard offered her congratulations, as did US Women’s soccer player Abby Dahlkemper.

Five-time All-Australian teammate Ebony Marinoff joked “I know who will be organising the whole wedding,” possibly a reference to Rajcic’s reputation for taking initiative, shown when the pair competed on the Amazing Race together in 2021, having started dating a few weeks before filming had begun.
The couple have played together for the Crows as teammates since 2018, with Randall drafted to the Crows in 2016 as one of the club’s two inaugural marquee players, and also named the club’s inaugural AFL Women’s captain.
The announcement comes after two-time premiership player Rajcic announced her retirement, hanging up the boots after 50 games and joining the Crows’ assistant coaching staff.
Rajcic came to the Crows as the 32nd overall pick in the 2017 AFL Women’s draft as a former professional soccer player.
She captained Adelaide United in 2015, in addition to a stint in the Swedish second division.
In her retirement announcement, Rajcic said: “AFLW and the Adelaide Crows changed my life for the better seven years ago.
“It’s been an unbelievable journey with so many unforgettable memories and special friendships,” she said.
I am incredibly grateful to the club for taking a chance on a girl who played the round ball game, and to all of those who have played a part in my journey.
“A big thank you to my family for their support and to my partner Chelsea - the best thing to come out of my AFLW career.”
