CROWS midfield terrier Rory Sloane has - as expected - signed a new three-year deal as the club continues to safeguard its young talent.
Fresh from a best-on-ground effort against Fremantle - including a game-breaking final quarter - 22-year-old has confirmed he will be at the club at least until the end of the 2015 season.
His signing comes hot on the heels of new deals for Patrick Dangerfield, Richard Douglas and Matthew Jaensch.
Selected with pick 44 at the 2008 national draft, Sloane has played 43 AFL games since making his AFL debut in 2009. He was added to the club's leadership group this year.
Crows football operations general manager Phil Harper said Sloane was an important part of the club's plans.
"We have built a really strong group of young players in the past few drafts and Rory has developed into one of the leaders, which is great for our team," he said.
"They are a tight and loyal group and have great confidence about the future of the football club."
