Numerous Labor political posters have been left on power poles around the inner west.

You can spot Marrickville councillor Jo Haylen on Parramatta Rd and Leichhardt mayor Darcy Byrne around Balmain Rd.

Cr Byrne said he had taken down his Labor campaign signs, but had been contacted by a handful of residents over some he had missed.

"I was pretty sure I had all of mine down by last week, but have been told I missed one on Balmain Rd," Cr Byrne said on Tuesday.

"I'll go out tonight and get it down."

Marrickville deputy mayor Emanuel Tsardoulias was shocked to hear there were some posters still up in the area.

"We take them down within two weeks and if there's some still up, we will get them down," he said.

Posters for Australian Protectionist Party candidate in Leichhardt Nicholas Folkes are also still around the neighbourhood, with one spotted on the corner of Perry St and Balmain Rd.
