Trampoline unveil Simply the Zest flavour for Darwin Festival

Trampoline have unveiled their exciting Darwin Festival exclusive flavour which pays tribute to some of the many things celebrated at the Top End event.

The Darwin Festival has launched its exclusive festival flavour for World Ice Cream Day, and in a nod to queen of rock ‘n’ roll Tina Turner it’s called ‘Simply the Zest’.

The TINA craze has hit Darwin with a standalone show to hit the Entertainment Centre next week as well as a show during Darwin Festival performed by local Ben Graetz.

And now as part of World Ice Cream Day local business Trampoline Gelato, one of the festival’s longest food vendors, has released a new flavour for the occasion.

This year’s festival flavour is an adults-only tribute to some of the many things celebrated at Darwin Festival 2024 being a Tina Turner-themed show and Darwin Festival gin.

‘Simply the Zest’ is a lemon sorbet infused with the Darwin Festival 2024 edition of Willing Distillery gin, made in Darwin at the Trampoline Waterfront store.

The exclusive flavour will be available at Festival Park and the Waterfront for the duration of the festival, from August 8 - 25.

Next week is ‘TINA The Ultimate Tribute to the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’ at Darwin Entertainment Centre on July 25 at 8pm.

Get the electrifying concert experience of Tina Turner with Caroline Borole in this glorious, energetic stage production, brimming with Tina hits from the ‘60s to the ‘90s.

Then during the festival people can also experience TINA: A Tropical Love Story, performed by Miss Ellaneous (Ben Graetz) and a group of local creatives including Natalie Pellegrino, Prawn Cracker Spice and Karibu Collective.

Kids won’t miss out on the ice cream with 12 other Trampoline flavours to enjoy at the festival.
