Agents from Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs are in the running for Top Residential Agent and Top Commercial Agent awards, with winners set to be celebrated at a national event in Melbourne on Thursday, November 14.
Andrew Harding, of Ray White Darwin, Darren Hunt, of Real Estate Central Projects, and Daniel Harris, of Real Estate Central Projects, are finalists in both the Top Residential Agent – Total Value Sales and Top Residential Agent – Most Properties Sold for metro NT.
Drew Hendriks, of Alice Springs Realty, Lindsay Carey, of Nutrien Harcourts Alice Springs, and Jo-Anne Pulsford, of Nutrien Harcourts Alice Springs, are competing for the Top Residential Agent – Total Value Sales for regional NT.
In the regional NT Top Residential Agent – Most Properties Sold category, the finalists are Ashleigh David, of Elders Real Estate Katherine, Drew Hendriks, of Alice Springs Realty, and Lindsay Carey, of Nutrien Harcourts Alice Springs.
Nick Syrimi, of Ray White Commercial, Ryan Doyle, of LJ Hooker Commercial, and Sam Moore, of Real Estate Central Projects, are the finalists in the Top Commercial Agent – Sales and Leasing category.
Darren Hunt, of Real Estate Central Projects, said he and Daniel Harris, also from Real Estate Central Projects, were thrilled to be finalist in the two Top Agent metro categories, which were based on sale volumes and values.
“It’s a sign of how much effort we put into our clients and perspective buyers,” he said.
“Both Daniel and I work seven days a week – it’s not a normal job but we absolutely love it.”
First established in 2016, the Annual REA Excellence Awards celebrate the success of realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au customers and their performance in the Australian property market.
This year’s awards feature an increased line-up of 60 data-driven awards and 11 submission-based awards, including the introduction of a new Excellence in Sustainability Award, which recognises those in the industry who champion ESG initiatives.
REA group general manager – customer excellence, Amy Read said 2024 was another record year of submissions.
“The number of submissions is increasing every year, which reflects the incredible calibre of our customers,” she said.
“It is by no means easy to secure a spot on the REA Excellence Awards finalists list and I’d like to congratulate those who now sit amongst the best of the best.”
