The major Australian supermarket will be giving out these nostalgic collectibles with eligible in-store purchases.

Woolworths has partnered with Disney to design their latest batch of collectibles for in-store customers.

The collectibles are reusable woven patches, known as Fix-ems, that can be adhered to surfaces or permanently ironed onto fabrics like cotton T-shirts or denim jackets as the ultimate ’90s throwback.

They can be stuck to a water bottle, pencil case, phones and even skateboards.

“Fans will stick-em, create-em, wear-em and reuse-em in so many creative ways – from personalising jackets and sneakers to lending some flair to their bags and bike helmets – the possibilities are endless,” The Walt Disney Company Australia and New Zealand consumer products vice-president and general manager, Meagan Sanders, said.

The Walt Disney Company wants to celebrate the strong connection Australians have with their favourite Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters.

There are 36 Fix-ems to collect in-store, with characters from the Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars franchises, including classics like Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Dory from Finding Nemo and Darth Vader.

Nostalgia and creativity are at the core of this collaboration, according to Woolworths chief marketing officer Andrew Hicks.

“(We) encourage customers, both young and old, to express themselves with some of their favourite Disney characters and we’re looking forward to seeing all the creative ways customers bring them to life,” Mr Hicks said.

The patches are made of at least 80 per cent recycled materials and have been certified by the Good Environmental Choice Australia.

They can also be recycled in-store at Woolworths as part of a partnership with Save Our Soles, which will give them a second life as mats or flooring.

Customers will receive a Fix-em patch for every $30 spent at Woolworths stores, with some products eligible for bonus patches.
