POLICE are searching for a woman who was caught on camera smoking from what was thought to be a glass meth pipe as she swerved dangerously across the road.

According to Seven News, witnesses saw the driver using a bright green lighter to heat the bottom of what they thought appeared to be a “meth pipe” as she drove down Perth’s Kwinana Freeway on Saturday afternoon.

The vehicle was allegedly swerving all over the road.

One witness managed to get a photo of the woman and her numberplate, which have since been passed on to police.

Some social media users claimed they had seen other drivers smoking questionable substances behind the wheel.

“Unfortunately this is everywhere people just don’t see it all the time. More police should be out especially on freeways with the amount of stupid drivers,” one person wrote.

Someone else even claimed that it was a “daily occurrence” for many drivers.

Police are working to track down the driver.
