Teenager, 16, killed while riding off-road motorbike
The 16-year-old was on an off-road motorbike when it collided with a car.
A teenage boy has been killed after the off-road motorbike he was riding collided with a car.
The crash happened at the intersection of Southwell Cres and Phoenix Rd in the southern Perth suburb of Hamilton Hill at about 7.30pm Tuesday.
WA Police said a red Honda off-road motorcycle and a silver Kia Sportage collided at the intersection.
The teem suffered critical injuries.
He was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where he later died — the driver of the Kia was uninjured.
Major Crash investigators examined the scene well into the night; images from the scene show the red motorcycle twisted in half, with debris and skid marks covering the surrounding road.
