Incredible vision has revealed the moment police allegedly uncovered a sophisticated drug set up hidden under a trapdoor on the floor of a shipping container shed.

Police made the startling discovery during an early morning raid on an address in Karnup, a regional suburb south of Perth, last week.

The footage shows a green metal shipping container stationed next to a regular garage, with items including a speaker and a trolley scattered on the grass nearby.

As the officer, who appears to be filming on their phone, walks inside the shed, boxes of insulation can be seen stacked up on the left-hand wall, with a trapdoor seen open behind the boxes.

A steep set of stairs under the trapdoor, with numerous power points built in next to it, leads down to a bunker made up of more shipping containers that had been buried underground.

Vision from inside the bunker, built on the 9-acre property, shows a desk and chair, and multiple plants, which police allege are cannabis.

Police will allege the bunker contained a commercial scale hydroponic cannabis grow set

up; including WI-FI automatic running water systems, lighting and a carbon dioxide feeding system.

Officers seized 25 plants from the bunker.

It will be further alleged an improvised clandestine drug lab was then found inside a granny flat detached from the main house.

Police have since charged two men over the discovery.

A 46-year-old man was charged with one count each of cultivate a prohibited plant with intent to sell or supply, possess a prohibited drug (cannabis) and possess a controlled weapon.

A 48-year-old man was charged with one count of manufacture a prohibited drug (attempted).

Both will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on September 13.
