A man has been charged with murder after allegedly striking a pedestrian with a vehicle during a dispute between the pair.
A man has been charged with murder after allegedly hitting a pedestrian with his vehicle during a dispute in Perth’s southeast.
Police allege the two men were involved in an altercation at a home in Stennett St in Gosnells about 5.20am on Wednesday.
One of the men ran away, while the other got into a green Toyota Hilux and struck the 39-year-old pedestrian on Nullagine Way, near Durack Crescent, police allege.
St John Ambulance officers took the pedestrian to Royal Perth Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The 42-year-old driver allegedly fled without assisting the pedestrian, but was arrested a short time later.
Homicide Squad detectives have charged the Gosnells man with murder.
He will face Armadale Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
