Man charged after allegedly threatening to kill premier while outside his home
A man has been charged after he allegedly threatened to kill this state leader while standing outside his home.
A man has been charged after he allegedly threatened to kill West Australian Premier Mark McGowan.
NCA NewsWire understands the 33-year-old made the threat on April 21 while standing out the front of Mr McGowan’s Rockingham home at around 8:30pm.
It is also understood the man was later arrested by police further down the Premier’s street.
The accused appeared in the Rockingham Court on Friday.
In a statement, Mr McGowan thanked WA police for their “swift response”.
“My whole family was there at the time, but everyone is OK and that’s the main thing,” he said.
