Lady Kitty adds touch of glamour to Polo in the Valley
Princess Diana’s glamorous niece Lady Kitty Spencer will bring a touch of royal excitement to Perth today for the 10th anniversary of Bentley Polo in the Valley.
As Britain’s famously intrusive tabloids await the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan’s baby in coming weeks, Princess Diana’s glamorous niece Lady Kitty Spencer will bring a touch of royal excitement to Perth today for the 10th anniversary of Bentley Polo in the Valley.
And while it’s one of the hottest events on the Perth social calendar, for Lady Kitty it’s about much more than galloping steeds, sunshine and champagne.
The Spencer family have a rich history of philanthropic work and the stylish socialite says she is proud to be in Perth to support Youth Focus and Telethon — the beneficiaries of the event hosted by Peter and Debra Prendiville at their stunning Swan Valley stud.
The 28-year-old Cape Town beauty, right, who crisscrosses the globe for her charity work, says she is particularly passionate about helping young people and finds the generosity of Perth people remarkable and inspiring.
“It is amazing how generous and passionate the community of Perth is and this really motivates me to come here,” Lady Kitty, who was dressed in a Saloni floral dress and dazzling Aquazzura heels from Claremont’s Adam Heath Boutique for a rooftop photo shoot at QT Perth yesterday, said.
“Before the auctions had even started for Telethon they had raised millions and to think that is an annual event is just incredible.
“Hearing about Youth Focus and getting to go there and meet the people who work there also made a lasting impact on me.”
The model, who now lives in London, is hungry to return to WA again soon because she loves the fun, easygoing vibe here and feels right at home.
“I just feel really relaxed and happy in Perth,” Lady Kitty said.
“Everyone is so warm and welcoming, it’s a great lifestyle and I love how positive everyone is.”
She’s also keen to bring more of the Spencer clan with her, particularly her younger twin sisters Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza.
