A former teacher has been charged with historical sexual abuse offences over allegations he had a relationship with a female student more than 30 years ago.
A former high school teacher has been charged with historical sexual abuse relating to allegations he had a sexual relationship with a female student more than 30 years ago.
Detectives charged the 64-year-old man from Albany, about 420km south of Perth, over incidents that allegedly occurred between 1992 and 1993.
Police allege the former teacher worked at a high school in the Perth metro area at the time and had a sexual relationship with a student.
He has been charged with sexually penetrating a child over 16 years under their care and indecently dealing with a child over 16 under their authority.
The man is due to face the Albany Magistrates Court on Thursday.
