A POLICE impound yard has come under attack in Melbourne after multiple shots were fired into it late last night.
A POLICE impound yard in Melbourne came under shooting attack late last night.
Several shots were fired at the yard in Preston, in the city’s north, hitting windows and the building itself, police said.
Shocked staff called triple-0 from inside, but no one was injured. Detectives later found bullet holes in the exterior of the building the staff had been in, and in the windows.
The Raglan St complex was attacked about 11.50pm
Detectives located several shots that had hit windows and penetrated the building exterior.
No arrests have been made and police are investigating what motive the shooter could have had to target the impound yard.
