Rebel Wilson finally sells LA ‘social media content house’ for $5.6m just weeks after wedding
Newlywed Rebel Wilson has secured a $5.6 million deal, weeks after she just tied the knot in a no-expenses held celebration.
Newlywed Rebel Wilson has a lot to celebrate right now. After she just tied the knot with partner Ramona Agruma, she’s also finally managed to sell her ‘content house’ in Los Angeles — closing on a deal just weeks after the wedding.
The 44-year-old mother of one first put the property on the market in June for $6.2m (US$4.15m).

She reportedly decided to sell the property to “streamline” her life, she told the Wall Street Journal.
“It’s such a good house,” said Wilson, who used the home as an office, meeting space, and social media content creation site.
The actor explained that she was planning to downsize to another property, or perhaps even find a more conventional office space.
However, selling the property was not the easiest of tasks for the actor, despite the home offering a wealth of attractive features and a decorated celebrity history.
Wilson first placed the home on the market in June but had no bites. Then it was relisted in September with a reduced asking price of $5.7m (US$3.85m).
Wilson ended up settling for a sale of $5.6m (US$3.76m) three days ago.
Despite the reduction, the Pitch Perfect star still a near million-dollar upside on the property, which she picked up in 2016 for around $4.4m (US$2,95m).
It comes after Wilson and Agruma recently tied the knot in a glamorous wedding on the Italian island of Sardinia. Images show the two brides walking down the aisle with their daughter in tow.
The couple, who dated for two years, chose the European location for their wedding because it held so many wonderful memories for them both, Agruma told Vogue.
“We went on an amazing trip there early in our relationship with our friends, the Ganzis,” she said. “We ate amazing food and found it to be the most romantic spot. So we decided we wanted to have a small destination wedding there with just family and close friends.”
The two exchanged vows under an arch of flowers at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto Cervo. Both brides wore white.
Wilson shared pictures of the “epic wedding weekend” celebration on Instagram, where she has 11.1 million followers.
When not dealing in real estate, the Aussie has a stand-out acting career. She got her start in Hollywood in the Pitch Perfect franchise in the scene-stealing role of Fat Amy, and her breakout part in “Bridesmaids” as a quirky roommate cemented her as a comedic genius.
She’s gone on to star in many a rom-com, including How To Be Single, Isn’t It Romantic, and Senior Year. She also penned a memoir, Rebel Rising.
