Victorian exposure site alerts explode to almost 250 as Myer and Bunnings stores added

A Myer, multiple Bunnings stores and several supermarkets have been added to Melbourne’s ballooning list of Covid-19 alerts.

The number of exposure sites across Melbourne has exploded overnight with a Myer, several supermarkets, a Bunnings and a Chemist Warehouse added to the list.

At least 57 venues have been added since Monday afternoon, taking the total number of sites exposed to Covid-19 to 246.

Many of the venues are in Melbourne’s western suburbs, but several sites have been added in Bayswater North, Heidelberg West and Preston.

The new exposure sites come after 11 coronavirus infections were recorded on Monday, with the health department revealing only one of those cases was in isolation during their infectious period.

The following venues have been listed as tier 1 exposure sites, meaning contacts need to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days:
