Coles, health club and rowing club added to Victoria’s list of exposure sites
Victorian officials have updated its list of virus exposure sites, which now top more than 150 as the state grapples to stop the spread.
Victoria’s Department of Health has announced a raft of new exposure sites as the state tries to get on top of its new covid cases.
Victoria has 36 active covid cases, 24 locally acquired and 12 are overseas acquired cases with 155 exposure sites.
10 of the new 11 covid cases were locally acquired linked to the recent interstate incursions of Covid-19, and one case is a returned international traveller in hotel quarantine.
Queensland has also declared Victoria a Covid-19 hotspot from 1am Saturday.
“Anyone returning after that time will have to do the 14 days mandatory quarantine,” Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.
Anyone who has been at the following sites at the listed times is considered a close contract and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days — regardless of their result.

“Some people within the Members’ Reserve who we have subsequently identified as coming into close contact with a confirmed case will also be messaged directly from the Department and be instructed to quarantine for 14 days,” Victoria’s Health Department tweeted.
Those at the following locations at the following times have been classed as close contacts and need to isolate immediately, get tested and quarantine for 14 days:
• Route 70 tram: Departing Flinders St/Swanston St at 3:46pm and arriving at the MCG at 3:53pm on July 10.
• Melbourne CBD: Young and Jackson pub on Flinders St between 2:40pm and 4:10pm on 10 July.
• Greensborough: Banyule City Council Offices, Level 3, 1 Flintoff Street 8am – 5pm on July 12.
• Bundoora: Salvos Stores, 1/89 Plenty Road, 11:45am – 1pm on July 13.
• Cremorne: Ms Frankie, 24 Cremorne Street, 6pm – 7:45pm on July 13.
The following has been classed a Tier 2 site and require people to isolate, get a test and stay isolated until negative.
Jolimont to Flinders St train: Departing 7:05 and 7:13pm on July 13.
Earlier on Thursday night the Department of Health alerted residents over a DFO at Bundoora.

Virus alert for Melbourne shopping centre
A major shopping precinct in Melbourne’s southeast – as well as two gyms – have been added to Victoria’s rapidly expanding list of exposure sites after Covid-19 skipped the border from NSW.
The state recorded two new Covid-19 cases in addition to the 10 infections officially announced on Thursday morning.
They are all linked to a team of Sydney removalists and a family that returned to Melbourne’s north from a NSW red zone.
The Department of Health added four alerts linked to Oakleigh Central Shopping Centre on Thursday afternoon.

An entire football team and their coaches were also forced into 14 days quarantine after the club was listed as an exposure site due to contact with a positive case at a training session on Monday.
The Barwon Heads Football and Netball Club players and coaches at the Howard Harmer Oval on Bluff Rd from 4.30pm to 6pm on July 12 need to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from their exposure.
Spectators watching the training session have been listed as tier 2 close contacts and need to get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.
