Two popular shops in Melbourne’s CBD have joined a Coles Express service station on Victoria’s long list of Covid-19 exposure sites.

Two stores at the Spencer St DFO shopping centre been added to the long list of Victorian Covid-19 exposure sites.

The state’s health department added both the Strandbags and Skechers shops at the Spencer Outlet Centre on Monday afternoon after Victoria recorded two new locally acquired virus cases.

The stores have been listed as tier 2 exposure sites, with people who visited the store at those times required to get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.

A positive case shopped at the Strandbags store at Shop T12, 201 Spencer Street, Docklands on May 18 from midday to 12.25pm, and Skechers at Shop T94/95, 201 Spencer Street, Docklands on May 18 from 12.10pm to 12.40pm.

A Coles Express service station was also added as a tier 2 exposure site on Monday.

A positive case visited the Coles Express Melton Highway service station at 410 Melton Highway, Taylors Lakes on May 21 from 10.30am to 11am.

On Sunday, a Southbank office building, a McDonald’s and a Woolworths supermarket were also added to the list.

The Freshwater Place office building in Southbank was listed as a tier 2 exposure site, meaning those who visited during the below times need to urgently get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.

The 4 Freshwater Place building was an exposure site on June 11 from 8.40am to 9.25am and again from 4.50pm to 5.40pm, June 10 from 8.40am to 9.25am and again from 4.50pm to 5.30pm, and June 9 from 8.40am to 9.25am and again from 4.35pm to 5.30pm.

Other venues added over the weekend include:

  • Medibank – Docklands, Level 7, 720 Bourke St, Docklands on May 18 from 7.45am to 4.15pm;
  • Boyd Community Hub, 207 City Rd, Southbank on June 8 from 2.45pm to 3.45pm;
  • Boyd Community Hub – Maternal Child & Family Health Services, 207 City Rd, Southbank on June 8 from 2.45pm to 3.45pm;
  • Boyd Community Hub – Park play area, 207 City Rd, Southbank on June 8 from 3.30pm to 4.30pm;
  • Woolworths Melbourne Square, Shop 1/10 Hoff Boulevard, Southbank on June 8 from 4pm to 5.30pm;
  • McDonald’s Freshwater Place, Freshwater Place, Southbank on June 11 from 5pm to 5.30pm.

More than 130 venues remained on the public exposure sites list on Tuesday morning, but that figure had fallen significantly from almost 400 early last week.

Victorians have been urged to check the state government’s website for the full and frequently changing list.

There are 64 active coronavirus cases in Victoria, with 46 locally acquired and 18 in hotel quarantine.

Melbourne’s lockdown restrictions remain on track to be eased again later this week after only two new linked cases were announced on Monday.
