Melbourne coffee king Rob Maisano and his wife Emily are selling their striking Hawthorn waterfront home, complete with a jetty and room for a boat.
Mr Maisano founded and ran The Coffee Company throughout the 2000s, as well as Maisano Coffee Concepts, which was the nation’s biggest coffee caterer when he sold it in 2008.
Since 2010, he has been the managing director of the Coffee Machine Warehouse.

The pair are selling a rare Yarra River-front address at 2 Scotsburn St, Hawthorn, with an $8m-$8.5m asking price.
Kay & Burton’s Rae Mano is handling inquiries for the property.
Mr Mano could not discuss the vendor, though records show the pair bought the house in 2021.
However, Mr Mano said the property was one of the best in the suburb, and among the very few with a riverfront position.
“It’s an amazing property and a special offering by the riverside,” he said.
“And there’s a jetty, so you can park your boat there, and it is possible to travel by boat into the city.”
The prestige agent said the home was designed in the 1960s by architect Harry Little, with bedrooms and living spaces aligned to make the most of the water views.
“And it’s had an outstanding renovation by the vendors,” Mr Mano said.

The update includes marble surfaces throughout the kitchen as well as Gaggenau appliances and a butler’s pantry.
There are ensuites and walk-in wardrobes for each of the home’s three bedrooms, all zoned in the same wing. Bathrooms also showcase polished stone surfaces.
An open-tread staircase leads from the home’s river-view balcony to a waterside garden, which steps down towards the river in tiers.
Noting that there were few homes on the waterfront, Mr Mano added that this address was among the closest to the Yarra River in the suburb.
With the river on one side, and reserves along other edges of the property there is only one neighbouring residence, making it a very private space.
The 1400sq m allotment is in a quiet street, but still close to Scotch College and transport along Glenferrie Rd.
Mr Mano said buyers had liked the home’s garden spaces and water views, with a number of families from the area and even expats abroad showing interest in the home.
No. 2 Scotsburn St will be auctioned at 6pm on December 11.
