Brisbane star midfielder Josh Dunkley is looking for a consolation prize in Melbourne following the Lions’ Grand Final loss against Collingwood, putting his property up for sale.
The 26-year-old midfielder previously played for the Western Bulldogs, where he notched a premiership under his belt in his debut year in 2016.
He was also awarded the Charles Sutton medal as the Bulldogs’ Best and Fairest last year, before he was recruited to Brisbane for the 2023 season.

After moving up north to join the club, Dunkley has now listed his investment pad in Port Melbourne off the back of playing in the recent AFL Grand Final.
PropTrack data shows the footballer first purchased the 192 Heath St pad in 2019 for $1.43m.
However, the footy star has put the two-bedroom house on the market with a $1.275m-$1.375m price tag, meaning he’d be selling at a loss if it goes in that range at its auction on October 21.
Marshall White Port Phillip director Sarah Wood said Dunkley bought the home with the intention of living there but eventually decided to rent it out as an investment property.
Public records show it was rented for about $700 a week.
Ms Wood said the home had been popular among young professionals, couples, downsizers and buyers looking for a city base.
“This is a superb home only a couple of kicks from Bay St, the water and the light rail, so it’s got everything someone could want as they work their way up the property ladder,” she added.
“Josh, like many others, saw a great opportunity to own a home in one of the most beautiful parts of Melbourne and snapped up this house a few years ago as an investment.
“When footy season finishes, selling season begins – and we’re expecting this to be a strong spring for property around Melbourne.”

The 113-year-old, freestanding Edwardian dwelling still boasts plenty of period features including the original working fireplace, hardwood timber floors and stained glass windows.
Two bedrooms, one with built-in wardrobes, join a central bathroom near the front entrance.
A long hallway leads through to the spacious rear, where a galley-style kitchen joins an open-plan living and dining zone filled with plenty of natural light.
This area opens out to a private rear courtyard and entertaining deck, also accessed from the second bedroom.
The property is in proximity to local tram stops as well as many neighbouring parks, the Port Melbourne cricket club and the Westgate freeway.
It comes after Dunkley recently described the 2023 Grand Final appearance as an “added bonus” to his first season with the Lions.
“It’s been an awesome ride,” he said.
“Going into the year and firstly getting traded … finals was probably on the mind but not grand finals, so it’s an added bonus for me and the group.
Dunkley’s home heads under the hammer at 10.30am on Saturday, October 21.
