Property records reveal the ex-politician and his wife, Amie are on the home’s title and they purchased the residence in December 2011 for $1.76m.

His wife, Amie Frydenberg is a partner at the law firm Lander & Rogers, where she’s worked for more than 20 years.
While Kay & Burton executive director Scott Patterson declined to comment on who the sellers were, he described the property as a quintessential Hawthorn house with a north and west orientation that offered plenty of light.
“It’s just a good manageable size that house (in) a wonderful location with good potential into the future,” Mr Patterson said.
“It could be a very nice house particularly for a young family; we think it’s attractively priced.”
He added that it was a well-serviced area with some of Melbourne’s best schools in proximity.
Mr Patterson said the abode had lots of charm and character, pleasing to the eye both externally and internally.
