A buyer travelling in China has dropped more than $6m on a Toorak house being offloaded by fashion label Realisation Par’s co-founder Teale Talbot.

Realisation Par also has more than 761,000 Instagram followers and established its first permanent store in London this year, after building the brand online and in pop ups.
Teale also put her three-bedroom home at 41 Heyington Place up for sale earlier this year with a $5.7m-$6.1m range.
Jellis Craig Stonnington partner Michael Armstrong declined to comment on the sold price but industry sources indicated it changed hands for a sum higher than $6m.
Mr Armstrong said three buyers took part in the auction, with one tuning in from China via the video conferencing tool Zoom.
It took just five minutes for the bidder to snap up the house, which they had previously inspected in person.

The abode features European-inspired interiors and gardens originally created by famous landscape designer Paul Bangay, that were redesigned and replanted by Armadale’s Will Gibson Gardens last year.
A reception area, library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and a fireplace, and formal sitting room are among the home’s drawcards.
The kitchen includes a walk-through pantry, while the main bedroom has a balcony, two walk-in wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with a claw-foot bathtub, shower and marble-topped vanity.
The garage double has a cellar while other features in the house include a downstairs powder room, heating and cooling, security and automated garden watering system.
It’s also close to schools including St Catherine’s School, St Kevin’s College and Scotch College.
