Wealthy Melbourne family the Jreissatis are selling an unfinished penthouse in Melbourne’s Eureka Tower, which has been empty ever since it was built in 2006.
The sub-penthouse on the 85th floor of 7 Riverside Quay, Southbank has listed for sale with $15m price hopes, and property records reveal it’s owned by the company Shield Abbott Pty Ltd with Colleen Jreissati and Samantha Jreissati as directors.
Samantha Jreissati is managing director of the winery Levantine Hill Estate as well as the daughter of property developer and Jreissati Group of Companies chairman Dr Elias Jreissati, and Colleen is his wife.

It comes after the family stepped in to rescue the development firm Bensons Property Group — which they founded and is part of the Jreissati Group.
The Gold Coast Bulletin reported that the founding family had agreed to fund a Deed of Company Arrangement which would see $414m paid to its creditors to avoid liquidation.
While RT Edgar Albert Park director Gerald Betts declined to comment on who the owners of the sub-penthouse were, he said the prospective purchaser would obtain a full floor and could create their own masterpiece of a home.
“There's not many shells in the city you can buy and do what you want to do. There might be to others in the whole of the city,” Mr Betts said.
Plans for a five-bedroom, four-bathroom home on the floor have been drawn up and come with the sale.
And this isn’t the first time the Jreissatis have sold properties in Eureka Tower, with Samantha selling an apartment at 7301/7 Riverside Quay for nearly $7m in 2022.
Dr Jreissati also listed the 82nd floor in the Eureka Tower for $25m at beginning of the same year, with its price guide later slashed to $22m and eventually taken off the market.
The Eureka Tower, once the tallest in the city, is located close to the high-profile STH BNK by Beulah tower project, which is under a cloud under a cloud after its developer put the project manager of the planned $2bn Southbank tower into administration.
