Syringes hidden in Melbourne supermarket injure two children
POLICE are warning parents in Melbourne to be vigilant after two children were pricked by syringes hidden in a suburban supermarket aisle.
TWO children have been pricked by syringes hidden in a Melbourne supermarket aisle.
The separate incidents happened on Monday at the supermarket in Broadmeadows, the first at 1.30pm when a child was pricked by a syringe hidden under a rail.
The second happened only an hour later involving a syringe that had been hidden in a similar way. The second child’s mother was shocked to find the syringe and alerted management of the supermarket, who called police.
