POLICE have launched a manhunt after a woman was found dead in a townhouse in Melbourne.
It is yet to be confirmed whether the death is suspicious but homicide squad detectives are involved and they want to speak to the woman’s housemate.

The Herald Sun reported this morning the housemate, 26-year-old Alex Dow Freeburn, had extensive criminal convictions
Officers throughout Victoria have been told to look out for Freeburn, who is said to be anti-police and a high risk of escaping.
Police have also told the public that Freeburn should not be approached.
He is described as being caucasian, fair, 175cm tall, 80kg and of medium build, with hazel eyes.
The dead woman’s father is thought to have called police when he couldn’t get in touch with his daughter. Police visited the property on Monday evening after the father visited a kebab shop next to the townhouse asking how he could get inside his daughter’s home.
