Man, teen charged over alleged wild 24hr carjacking spree across Melbourne’s southeast
A man and a teenager have been charged following an alleged 24-hour carjacking spree across multiple suburbs.
A young man and a 15-year-old teenager have been arrested over a series of alleged carjackings across Melbourne’s southeast.
Police will allege a 24-year-old man and a teenage boy were involved in a 24-hour carjacking spree across the suburbs of Patterson Lakes, Parkdale, Springvale South and Richmond on June 22.
The older man was arrested in Noble Park on Tuesday and has been interviewed by police.
It comes a day after the 15-year-old boy was arrested in Clayton.
He has been charged with multiple offences including aggravated carjacking, aggravated home invasion and driving offences.
He is being held on remand and will to appear before the Children’s Court at a later date.
