Police said the 27-year-old remains in a critical condition after he was attacked during a fight in Ascot Vale.
Police arrived at the unit block in Melbourne’s north about 9.20pm and found a man bleeding profusely.
He was rushed to Royal Melbourne Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Police said the man was injured after a fight broke out between two groups of people in a Wingate Ave unit block.
The three men were later arrested in Melbourne’s north and are being interviewed by police.
