A man has been arrested after a woman’s body was found at a home west of Melbourne overnight.
Police said emergency crews were called to at address in Egan Court, Darley, late on Saturday where they found a woman, believed to be in her 60s, with critical injuries.
She could not be saved.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is assisting detectives with their inquiries.
“Investigators are not looking for anyone else in relation to the matter,” police said.
