Homicide detectives investigate deadly altercation at Reservoir home
An altercation at a Reservoir home has turned deadly, with police arresting and questioning a man known to the deceased.
Police are investigating the death of a man following an alleged violent altercation in the Melbourne suburb of Reservoir on Monday afternoon.
One man has been arrested and is believed to have known the deceased.
Police say the pair became involved in an dispute at a Mahoneys Road property at around 4:30pm.
They say the situation escalated and the deceased suffered wounds to his lower body that ultimately proved fatal.
Emergency services were called and treated the man but he died at the scene.
The other man was arrested and is being questioned by police.
Detectives have called on anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
