A MOTHER of four undergoing cancer treatment has had a copy of her CT scan, which doctors need to determine whether her cancer has spread, stolen during a burglary in Melbourne.

Two men allegedly broke into a Port Melbourne home, in the city’s southwest, about 3.40am on Saturday while the woman, her husband, and their four children were asleep, and stole three mobile phones, a credit card and two cars.

A copy of the 41-year-old mother’s most recent CT scan was in the back of the stolen Mini Cooper.

The same car was involved in a pursuit in the Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh and Melton areas later that morning, police say.

Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to as well as photos of the stolen vehicles — a Nissan Patrol with registration SDT and a white Mini Cooper with registration AFA 803.

Both men are believed to be in their early 20s and one was wearing a white cap and blue Nike jumper while the other was wearing a black and grey jumper.

Police also believe another man was involved in the robbery who is in his early 20s and unshaven.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
