Girl, 16, allegedly stabbed by four teens on Melbourne train
Four teens have been charged with the alleged stabbing of a 16-year-old girl on a Melbourne train on Monday night.
Four teenagers between the ages of 14 to 16 have been arrested after the alleged stabbing and robbery of another teenage girl on a train on Monday night.
Emergency Services were called to Batman Station after reports of a stabbing in Coburg North just after 8.30pm.
A 16-year-old girl was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with upper body injuries in a stable condition.
Police arrested four teenagers a short distance away, and after a search of the area found a knife that had allegedly been dumped.
A 15-year old from Greater Geelong was charged with armed robbery, intentionally cause injury, use controlled weapon and assault with a weapon.

She has been bailed and due to face a children’s court at a later date.
The other teenagers allegedly involved, a 14-year-old girl from Melton, 14-year-old boy from Brimbank and 16-year-old boy from Hume, have also all been released and are expected to be charged on summons.
