BREAKING: A group doing personal training in a carpark in Melbourne has made a grisly discovery this morning.

Man found dead at Westfield Doncaster

A BODY has been found in the lift of a carpark at a Melbourne shopping centre.

The body was discovered at Westfield Doncaster on Friday morning by a group working out in the carpark.

A police spokeswoman said the man was alive but “injured” when he was found at about 6.10am, but died soon after emergency services arrived.

The man had injuries to his upper body, reported The Herald Sun.

“Homicide Squad detectives are on scene and the exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be established,” the spokeswoman said.

Forensic experts are also at the scene.

It is the second time in a week a body has been found at a Westfield mall. Tasmanian Bernard Gore, 71, was missing for 21 days before he was found in a stairwell at the Bondi Junction Westfield. His death was not suspicious.

More to come.
