A Melbourne marketing guru accused of selling drugs from Airbnb properties while swindling designer goods using bogus IDs is out of prison on bail and will reside at a residential drug rehab facility.
Tess Rowlatt, a former marketing whiz, is facing more than 100 charges relating to allegations of drug dealing in dozens of Airbnb properties and also running a high-end goods fraud scheme.
The 32-year-old was on Thursday not required to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday where her lawyers asked for an adjournment.
Ms Rowlatt is facing a raft of charges, including trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs and obtaining property by deception.
Police allege in court documents that Ms Rowlatt sold drugs from more than a dozen different Airbnb properties between July and October last year.
She is also accused of using stolen IDs and credit cards to carry out several frauds, including taking out bank loans.
Ms Rowlatt also allegedly attempted to defraud David Jones of $17,000 worth of handbags in April last year, according to court documents.
She was arrested at a Spencer St apartment in October last year after detectives allegedly watched her complete a drug deal.
Ms Rowlatt claimed on her LinkedIn profile that she studied at Monash University and worked as an account manager at a marketing agency.
Her lawyer Claudia Flocke on Thursday said Ms Rowlatt would reside at a residential drug rehab facility but it was unclear for how long.
Magistrate Bates adjourned the matter to a later date.
