LETTER OF THE DAY
Health professionals worth their weight in gold
KNOCKED out, memory loss, and a broken finger after falling from my bike, in an area northeast of Oatlands with no phone coverage.
I now know that 000 works.
Two ambulances and a helicopter arrived to render assistance. Twenty-five minutes later, I was admitted at the RHH. Two days in hospital and an operation on my finger.
I was attended at home by Home Health Care to administer intravenous antibiotics for two days.
Then every two days, the Home Nurse Care came to redress my finger.
I have nothing but praise and thanks to all the hospital staff and health professionals that have been part of my care.
Merry Christmas and thank you again.
Graham Broomhall, Glebe
