THE Westpac Rescue helicopter has been sent to a single-vehicle crash at Swanport on Tasmania’s East Coast.

Tasmania Police said the crash on Mayfield Jetty Rd was reported about 4.15pm today.
Officers were responding and the chopper has been deployed to the accident scene, they said.
Motorists were advised to avoid the road if possible.
