Police is turning to the public for help in relation to the whereabouts of Launceston man Michael Fish.

The 39-year-old was last seen on Christmas Eve in the area of Meander Valley Road at Westbury.

His family and police hold concerns for his welfare.

Officers say he may be travelling in a silver van.

He has been described as being about 183 centimetres tall, with a solid build and short brown hair.
