TWO Hobart Eastern Shore homes were among the most viewed properties in Australia on realestate.com.au last week.

Tassie’s No 1 and Australia’s eighth most viewed home was a beauty at No 21 Natlee Crescent in Old Beach.

LJ Hooker Glenorchy sales consultant Simon Parsons described it as a property that had been “presented beautifully”.

“The owners prepared and styled the home amazingly,” he said.

“Seeing it so well received by the market was a credit to the perfect teamwork by all involved.”

From the quality interiors to the landscaped gardens, the stunning outdoor entertainment spaces to the large sheds and the to-die-for views, 21 Natlee ticks a lot of boxes.

This rendered concrete block home was designed with family living in mind, but with an eye to entertaining.

A 50sq m covered deck runs the entire length of the front of the home, which faces the views of the river and beyond. Just imagine watching the NYE fireworks over the mountain — amazing.

Mr Parsons believes the privacy that is on offer and the great size would have caught the eye of property hunters.

“It has an amazing outlook and the video produced by Dan Zygmant at Promote Property Marketing helped catch people’s attention on social media as well,” he said. “The first open home attracted 31 groups of which I believe all were local.

“On top of those groups, I had two interstate buyers that I provided virtual tours for via WhatsApp and YouTube.

“I love the way the living zone opens up on to the deck that also captures the amazing views — and the garages are a massive bonus, too.

“There are more people looking for ‘lifestyle’ properties now because many of us have spent a bit more time at home this year than over the last few years.

“Old Beach has quite a number of homes that fall in to that category. Good sized blocks, great views and close enough to Glenorchy or Hobart.”

Gogglebox stars talk realities of renovating

This home has three good size bedrooms with built-ins, a U-shape kitchen with black benchtops and European appliances, underfloor insulation, plus it is kept safe with a security alarm.

This property is listed with LJ Hooker and priced at “offers over $539,000”.

The second high flying Tassie home of the week placed 11th nationally and is located on Derwent Avenue in Geilston Bay, overlooking the boats on the water.
