Flash cars rally for a good cause at the Take Your Tops Off car show
FAST fashion will fill Parliament Lawns this weekend when more than 100 cars are put on display at the Take Your Tops Off car show.
FOR Billie Rocka, any event that includes cars, fashion and charity is her kind of scene.
That is why she jumped at the chance to get involved in the Take Your Tops Off car show, which will again raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Saturday.
Car lovers are expected to flock to Parliament Lawns when about 100 classic, modern and exotic cars come together for the fundraiser.
The event will showcase cars from 1908 to the present.
A new element will be a fashion parade where participants can dress either in pink or according to an era that complements some of the cars.
Ms Rocka, who will present the fashion show, said the concept was special to her as she had a love for cars and fashion.
“Anything that can tie in cars, fashion and charity, I’m there,” she said.
“If you look good, you feel good and it’s a huge confidence boost for women to get out there and have a strut down the runway.
“And my mother has suffered from breast cancer on two separate occasions and she is a survivor so to support something that is fundraising for breast cancer is close to my heart.”
The show will run from 10am to 2.30pm.
