IT’S a beautiful twist the battle between hard done by students and a cost-cutting Government.
A group of angry students staged a protest inside Liberal part headquarters in Melbourne this morning, getting in the way of a wine delivery valued at more than $1000.
The eight-person protest against the government’s higher education reforms, introduced in parliament today, reportedly interrupted a delivery with $1152 worth of wine received at Liberal HQ.

The group was chanting a familiar line “no cuts, no fees, no corporate universities”.
Police are present at the protest but have so far not been prompted to take action.
The Abbott government is expected to introduce its higher education reforms to parliament today. The legislation will spell out its budget plans to deregulate university fees, expand commonwealth funding for private providers and sub-bachelor courses, cut per-student funding and increase the interest rate for HELP debts.
The bill is expected to pass the lower house unchanged but is expected to run into trouble in the Senate.
