Wet weather to hang around with more rain on the way for Adelaide

South Australians are waking to showers and fog around the Hills and southern suburbs, prompting road safety warnings.
The cold and wet weather which lashed South Australia on Wednesday is expected to hang around with more rain on its way.
On Wednesday, 8.8mm rain fell in the Adelaide Hills with only 1mm in the city and scattered showers reported across the state.
A Facebook user Zachary Lienert was creative in a hailstorm near Port Lincoln, with a video showing the man keeping his beers icy cold.
“Oh well if ya not crying because it’s wrecking the crops, ya certainly gotta have a laugh,” he posted.
Thursday morning showers bringing up to 4mm of rain are expected to clear later in the day with Adelaide tipped to reach a top of 17C.
However showers will begin to develop on Friday with up to 15mm predicted to fall on Saturday.
Fog in the Adelaide Hills has prompted road safety warnings for South Eastern Freeway users with speed restrictions in place.
