The event not only spread festive cheer but also highlighted the important work done by KickStart For Kids, which continues to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children across South Australia.

Head of The Advertiser Foundation, Dan Demaria thanked staff from The Advertiser and SkyCity Adelaide for donating the presents to the 220 children in attendance and for Bird In Hand Winery for hosting the party.

“I don’t think I made for a very convincing Father Christmas handing the presents out - although a few kids said they thought I had been working out and looked in shape which was nice of them,” Mr Demaria said.

The Christmas Kids Appeal celebration brought a sense of joy and hope to those who need it most, showing the power of community support during the holiday season.

As the children left the event with smiles and gifts, it was clear that this special afternoon had made Christmas come early for many.

The Advertiser’s continued commitment to helping local children in need underscores the true spirit of giving this festive season.
