Search on for $30m Powerball winner after $70m Oz Lotto win on Tuesday

The search for the one lucky Aussie who will celebrate Easter in style has begun after the $30m Powerball was won.

The single Division One winner will have the number 34, 17, 35, 27, 30, 14, 32 and Powerball 17.

There were no winners in Division Two for Thursday’s draw.

There were 75 Division Three winners, who will still each get a whopping $16,726.85l.

It comes after the $70m jackpot was won on Tuesday, making 15 Queenslanders instant millionaires.

The syndicate scooped the entire amount as they were the only Division One winning entry nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1626.

There were 15 members of the syndicate who each pocketed $4,713,844.4, but some who did not register their entry to The Lott Members Club may still be unaware of their good fortune.

An official from The Lott woke one Bribie Island man with the news he was now a multi-millionaire.

“I was just asleep! Bloody hell!” he said.

“Oh my god, that’s so good. This changes our lives. We’ve been trying to get our first home, so this will do that.

“Unbelievable! My heart is racing!

“I’d happily wake up to hear your voice any day of the week!”

A Richlands man was initially sceptical about his good fortune before he realised he was part of the winning syndicate.

“I thought you were sh**-stirring me!” he laughed.

“I just can’t believe it.

“Believe you me, I will be looking at retiring!”

Another syndicate member, a man from Inala, erupted into excitement upon hearing the news his life had changed forever with a division one syndicate win.

“Oh my god! Oh my god!” he joyfully yelled.

“I thought you said I had won $47,000, but now it’s actually hit me that you said $4.7 million!

“I can’t believe this! Thank you! Thank you!”

With $4.7 million opening the doors to endless possibilities, the Brisbane resident shared his win would allow him to travel overseas and reunite with family.

“I have some family overseas who are enjoying a holiday without me, but now I’ll be able to join them,” he exclaimed.

“I can’t stop saying thank you!”

The Lott spokeswoman Anna Hobdell said she hoped the remaining syndicate winners checked their tickets immediately to discover their early Easter treat.

“It’s remarkable that 15 Queenslanders became multi-millionaires tonight! While we’ve tried contacting those who registered their tickets to The Lott Members Club, some may have yet to discover the good news!” she said.
